Tubes joins The Music on thier tour...bus!

One of the highlights of the weekend was going on The Music's tour bus. I had never been on one before but it's pretty much how you would imagine it - all leather interior and kitted out to the max with loads of gadgets as well as TV's and game consoles. I would happily spend a night on that!

This week I headed to the Reading festival which was in erm... Reading!
I've been a couple of times now and it's always pretty good fun and so it proved to be again.
I headed off straight after the show on Saturday along with Trev, who deals with all the music on Soccer AM, to interview as many bands as possible.
If I'm honest I was exhausted on Saturday so I had a few beers to overcome my sleepy state of mind - needless to say it did the trick!
I slept like a baby on Saturday night and it's a good thing too because Sunday was pretty hectic. Among the bands that we got to interview were The Cribs The Subways, The Automatics, Robots in Disguise and Light Speed Champion.
A few of them have been on the show before, including The Cribs which always makes life a little easier, because although you're supposed to go through their 'people' most of them are happy to do it.
I was really glad I managed to get The Cribs because for me they're probably one of the best bands around at the moment. Their lead singer Ryan is always pretty funny and he gave me a really weird answer, which was good!

The whole weekend was great except for the fact that I stuck out like a sore thumb because of what I was wearing!
While everyone else was walking around in their skinny jeans and pointy shoes, I wanted to look the part so I put on a shirt and trousers. I lost count the amount of times people asked me why I was dressed the way I was, but I reckon I looked smart and that's all that matters!
Speaking of clothes and I haven't got too much going on this week so my main objective is to buy a new pair of jeans because my favourite ones are really starting to smell!
They might just need a good wash, but they've seen better days so I should probably invest in a new pair!
The only other thing that is on my shopping list is a new double bed as I should finally be moving into my new place this weekend. Large Swedish home products retailer, here I come!

You're a nice guy and a funny bloke...but what I want to know is what has been your best moment since working for Soccer AM?

TUBES REPLIES: That's a very good question and a tough one to answer really because I've had some amazing times on Soccer AM. The two moments that really stand out though were meeting Noel Gallacher for the first time about five or six years ago and playing football with John Terry last year. They're both absolute heroes, but if I had to pick one I'd probably go with playing football with John Terry.

TUBES REPLIES: I'd have to say Jessica Alba without a doubt. I've seen her in person and even though she was pregnant - she looked hot! I know it sounds a bit weird, but it's true - she's that good looking!

TUBES REPLIES:The legend that is Vanilla Ice! That guy tore up the rap rule book when he came in and revolutionised the whole genre when he brought out Ice Ice Baby. His music is truly inspirational!
