We went out on Saturday night and Lavvers started doing press-ups on the dance floor!
Bobbie
Quotes of the week
One of the best things about working where we do is that we can wear anything we want... well within reason, eyebrows would be raised if someone turned up in a Mankini.
That being said anyone peering into our office on Tuesday would've been excused for thinking we had adopted a uniform consisting of checked shirts and jeans.
No less than five crew members were donning variations on the theme, while even Lisa was wearing a check patterned dress!
Amongst those who had secretly coordinated there wardrobes that morning was Bobbie, who once again caused uproar with his TV viewing habits.
Glee
The Brown Coat Man's new favourite show is Glee, which according to Wikipedia is a new 'American musical comedy-drama'.
That description in itself should go someway to explaining the roars of laughter heard as Bobbie tried to convince us how good it was.
"Isn't it just High School Musical for adults?" asked James.
"No, it's really good! Just look at the ratings, " replied Bobbie annoyed by our commitment to judge a program by its trailer.
Dave momentarily deflected attention away from him by admitting that he watched Confessions of a Shopaholic at the weekend.
Unfortunately for Bobbie the spotlight was firmly back on him after he got excited by the mere mention of the chick flick and told us how 'brilliant' it was.
Ashley was less than impressed: "I think my dad would disown me if he ever caught me watching something like that."
Ace
Luckily Bobbie had one ace up his sleeve to take the heat away from him, and that was bad news for Lavvers!
"We went out on Saturday night and Lavvers started doing press-ups on the dance floor!" he told us.
Lavvers insists he doesn't remember doing it, let alone why, but Steve wasn't convinced.
"Hang on a minute, you were doing press-ups in the middle of a club and you can't remember!?"
In fairness that's something that none of us would want to remember!
In other news Chris is officially getting old after he got told off in the pub for talking about allotments!
The Saints fan has developed green fingers in recent months, and after the success of his vegetable patch, he has decided to get himself an allotment.
We know it's not exactly rock 'n' roll, but who'll be laughing when he's enjoying his organic vegetables for free... oh yeah, still us!
See you on Saturday!
