Quotes of the week
There was a clear winner in the 'who had the best weekend stakes' when we all walked into the office on Tuesday morning.
Despite doing his best to play it down, Dave quite simply put everyone else to shame.
While the rest of were regaling stories of drunkard nights out and taxi rides home, he maintained he didn't get up to much, before finally revealing "oh, well I did go snowboarding."
"That's pretty cool," said Simon. "Where did you go, the dry slopes at Milton Keynes?
"No," replied Dave nonchalantly. "The Alps."
"The Alps!?" asked Simon. "How did you manage to squeeze a trip to the Alps and snowboarding into your days off?"
"Well I got there about four o'clock on Saturday and then I flew back at 10pm on Monday night," he explained.
Simon pointed out the rest of us were clearly wasting our weekends off in light of Dave's antics, but Baby Elvis was in defiant mood.
"I don't know what you're talking about... I went to Bluewater!"
Unrealistic
As well as visiting the second largest shopping centre in England, Baby Elvis' rock 'n' roll lifestyle took him to the cinema, however he was less than impressed with new Hollywood blockbuster The Wolfman.
"I hate films which are unrealistic," he revealed. "I hated Avatar as well."
Why he then chose to go and watch a something called 'The Wolfman' is completely beyond us!
Luckily for him there was at least one performance he enjoyed at the weekend.
Our resident goalkeeper took great delight at seeing Tottenham beat Everton on Sunday, but not just because it was an important three points in the race for fourth.
Forfeit
"Rob, wasn't Si supposed to do a forfeit if Everton lost?" he asked.
"Hang on a minute," interrupted Toffees fan Simon. "I offered you a bet where the loser would have to do a forfeit, but you said you didn't want to.
"You could have had me doing something in the studio this week if you hadn't bottled it!"
Needless to say but Baby Elvis was then confronted with a chorus of 'aahhh, how's your bottle!"
See you on Saturday!
