Quotes of the week

I headed to Stamford Bridge straight after the show on Saturday to watch Chelsea-Man City and it's fair to say it wasn't the greatest start to the weekend!

Watching the team you love concede four goals is never easy and this was no exception.

All the pre-match talk was obviously about whether or not Wayne Bridge and John Terry would shake hands and I think it affected Chelsea's performance.

It was a pretty poor display in all honesty, but I guess the only consolation is that despite losing we're still top of the league - that said I can't get rid of the feeling that we should be streets ahead now.

Manchester United are hot on our heels, and I'm even starting to get worried about Arsenal who've got most of their tough fixtures out of the way.

It should make for an exciting end to the season, but I'd much rather we were 20 points ahead right now!

Stag

Needless to say but I wasn't really in the mood to do anything after the match so Saturday was a bit of a write off, but on Sunday I was back in Cobham for a stag do.

I'd love to tell you all about it, but it was a stag do, so I can't! The only thing I can say is that it was a lot of fun...

It wasn't the healthiest weekends though and to make things worse I put my lower back out.

I was struggling a bit when I came into the office on Tuesday and then a guy from Sport Relief rocked up and asked if I was going to be taking part in the run around the car park!

As it was for charity I couldn't say no, but my plan to walk the mile went up in smoke as soon as Trev blew the whistle and everyone ran off!

I tried to keep up with them, but my back started killing me halfway through the first lap, so I decided to hang back with Lisa and just walk the rest. Kammy put us all to shame anyway!

Fever

It wasn't the best start to the week, but things have got better and better and like most people I've been getting swept away by World Cup fever after England's friendly with Egypt.

The only disappointing thing was not seeing Joe Cole in Fabio Capello's latest squad.

I heard him say that he didn't pick him because he hasn't played enough games this season, but then he's probably played as many games as Theo Walcott so I'm not sure I understand that logic.

There's enough time for him to play his way back into Capello's squad though and I'm sure he'll be on the plane to South Africa come June.

As well as getting excited about the World Cup I've been planning my summer holidays this week.

I'm hoping to go to Barbados or St Lucia at the beginning of June and have been busy looking at brochures, but everyone's been telling me that the best deals are on the internet.

The only problem is I still haven't really mastered Google, so if you know of any good deals feel free to get in contact!

Work-wise it's been another good week. I've had my Michael Douglas junket confirmed and in two weeks time I'll be heading into London to interview Jude Law and Forest Whittaker!

It doesn't get much better than that!

Tubes answers your questions

Tubes, you're a really funny guy and you've interviewed some really funny men, but what I want to know is who do you think is the funniest man in the world?James Bird (Chelsea fan)

Tubes replies:I'd have to say Lee Evans. He just goes proper mental on stage for about two hours and sweats loads, but his stand-up is hilarious. I also think Noel Gallagher very funny. He's got a really dry sense of humour which I like.

Have you got one question and one question only for Tubes!? Ask the lyrical genius anything you want in the comments section below and he'll answer the best ones next week!
